Encanto and School of Rock
From August 15 – August 17 we ran two super fun Summer Schools that were a huge success!
The Summer Schools consisted of fun class workshops in jazz, lyrical and musical theatre from different Disney films and Musicals. At the end of the three days, students then performed in a parents showcase including two themed performances from Encanto and School of Rock.
La La Land Workshop
In addition to our Summer Schools for the lower school, we ran a La La Land Workshop on August 20 for our Intermediate – Advanced students.
In the 4 hour intensive workshop, we ran lyrical and theatre jazz classwork, and then learnt a La La Land dance featuring the songs, ‘City of stars’ and ‘Someone in the crowd’.
It was a really fun day and you may be able to see the La La Land dance in a performance in future… keep your eyes peeled!
